Pumpkin Patch 100 Book Club
For each 10 books your child checks out they will receive a sticker on their master membership card. After obtaining 10 stickers they will receive a 100 Book Club certificate and prize. It's never too early to promote good reading habits! Anyone can be part of the 100 book club, even Pumpkin Patch infants!
Kids Review
Make sure to stop by our table to give your opinion on any books you have read from our library. Encourage your child to name their favorite part, whether they liked the book or who their favorite character was. Infant parents get involved by telling other parents what interested your child (the bright colors, the flaps or touch and feel aspect). All book reviews will be displayed on our Kid's Review bulletin boards.
Please see the library door for library hours.

Parent Library Orientation
Dear Pumpkin Patch Parents,
We are very happy to inform you that the Pumpkin Patch has added another educational element to its facility. The grand opening of the Lending Library will be Monday April 20th. What a perfect beginning to the Week of the Young Child. We would like to invite families to stop in and preview the Library on Friday April 17th from 8-9am and 4-5pm. At this time you will be able to view the room and be versed in the library system.
The library is a member only resource. This will help keep the library organized, along with sustaining the books and videos. To become a member of the Lending Library please fill out the form attached and return it to the center at your earliest convenience. Once we receive your form you will receive a library card with a registration number on it. The number will be member specific. This card and number will be used to keep track of the books lended.
The library hours are as follows:
Monday: 8-9am, 4-5pm
Wednesday: 8-9am, 4-5pm
Thursday: 8-9am, 4-5pm
These hours are the only times in which you will be able to take out books. Children must always be monitored by an adult in the library. Children are not allowed in the library alone.
You will be able to borrow books for a period of two weeks from the check-out date. You can only check out 10 children’s books at one time. When returning books please place them in the drop box located on the wall outside the library. You may drop the books at any time during the day.
There will be a binder labeled “Parent check out book” located on the book shelf in the library. You will need to put down the date you took the books out, the title and number of each book taken, and your member number.
Checked out materials that have been damaged or lost will be the responsibility of the family who checked them out. Parents are requested to replace the damaged book with the same title or one comparable if the title is no longer available.
Movies and resource books will also be available for checkout. Movies are limited to 1 at a time while resource books are limited to 3 at a time.
Thank you for your time and cooperation. We hope you enjoy the library!
